CLUB BENEFITS:

Here are some of the many benefits you may realize when you join:

  1. Security – Our leaders and instructors will help you understand how to keep your data and personal information from prying eyes.
  2. Training – We offer free training classes 8 times a week during the winter sessions and 2 times per week during the summer sessions.
  3. Social – We have social hours where we gather to visit and share information – usually Apple related but not always.
  4. Meetings-General Membership Meetings are held on the second Saturday of the Months of Jan-April and November. A Christmas Breakfast meeting is held in December, Date and location to be determined.
  5. Informative – One of our committees creates our monthly newsletter called, “Apple Core”.  This has our meeting schedule for the following month (including Classes), as well as, other informative articles about your Apple world.
  6. Support – Our “Walk-in Help” class sessions allow you to work 1-on-1 with the instructor to get help with an issue you may be having with your device.  No more Apple Genius Bar Appointments!

NOTE:

We must adhere to the Recreation Center rules.

No person can join the SunMacs Computer Club that does not have a CURRENT RCSC Card.

There will be no exceptions to this rule going forward. In the past we allowed persons to be “grandfathered”.

Monitors are the first line of defense against anyone wanting to sign up who doesn’t have a Rec Center Card.

We wish our Apple friends could join us, but the rules are the rules.
